We bring children to Cornerstone University Monday through Thursday evenings during the school year to spend time with Cornerstone freshman. The children enjoy time with college students where they can get help with homework, play games and eat a college meal together. Spending time in a college atmosphere has broadened our children's understanding of the importance of education and the opportunities college can bring. A different group of children attend each night.
As a volunteer, you can help us with transportation. We use 15-passenger UFM vans. Your time commitment will be about 4 hours altogether. You are welcome to join the kids in their activities or run an errand or two while they're at Cornerstone. Volunteer one evening a week, and it can be the same evening each week. This is a fun activity, and the children are always excited to go!
