Public School Outreach

If you want to feed fish, then go where the fish are. That’s the thinking behind the Public School outreach. Urban Family Ministries has developed a network of volunteers that work as tutors with inner-city school children, helping them with reading and writing skills, teaching moral character trait curriculum, and assisting students in the school libraries. Originally started to have influence during school, this program has grown to include after school Bible studies where Urban Family Ministries staff and volunteers are free to share the Bible and the wonderful story of Jesus.
